From Danny on 28/04/2006

Dear Tim, We were neighbours truly for the shortest time, and even shorter still was the time I knew you before you had your diagnosis. I liked you from the word go for your positive outlook, gentleness and humour, and every weekend was something, like cycling or kayaking. I remember very clearly the day you told me you had been diagnosed with MND, and I understood the consequences of that straight away. Amazingly, as has been already mentioned by those closest to you, you retained that positiveness and humour. No crimp in your activities either. You were as outgoing as ever, even doing sessions on ABC Radio. Tim, my friend, I was saddened to learn of your passing today. I will miss talking with you, and my most heartfelt condolences to your nearest and dearest. With fondness, Danny
